Twin Tower Lantern

Lantern made from recycleable materials. There are doors to be opened so that candles can be inserted.

And we carried this lantern and joined the TI Rukun Tetangga walking around the neighbourhood on Sunday night 11 Sep....very practical indeed!

Another wedding odd job

Toddlers at this age can take up a bit of odd jobs now and then... Charmaine had her chance as a flower girl last July. This time is Ivan's opportunity to be a ringbearer. And he got to tackle a pretty flower girl too. Cun!

Cornflakes Tower

Trying to make use of the dehydrated apple slices given by neighbour, mummy mixed cornflakes with sugar, honey, raisins and almond slices and baked in the papercups. There were so much servings that we have to stack up the papercups on several plates in order to save space!

A Day As A Flower Girl

During Aunty Sally's daughter Rachel's wedding, Charmaine was made the flower girl. RM80 was spent on that white dress and another RM30 on the shoes. And when she got her
'upah' (angpow RM28), not a single cent would she share with or pay back anyone...huh!

Visiting Grape Vineyard

We visited a grape vineyard yesterday. It's just beside a man-made lake. We are not aboard to any 4 season country, but just took half a day to complete the trip from home. It is just about 100km from our home. It is at Tasik Beris, Kedah (10 minutes from Sik Town).
Direction: Penang --> Gurun --> Jeniang --> Sik --> Tasik Beris
Entrance Fee (Open Daily): RM3.00 (Adult), RM1.50 (7 - 12 years old)
Fresh Grape Price: RM12.50 (500gm)
Not a bad place to visit, but don't expect too much...
